Why Promutase?

Promutase 200 is a blend of the antioxidants superoxide dismutase and catalase.  In a recent study evaluating the effects of Promutase in exercising Standard bred  racehorses(Eq Vet J 2010 Supp 38: 375-381) , creatine kinase (CK) muscle enzyme levels and plasma hemolysis (red blood cell destruction) were significantly lower after exercise in the Promutase treated group.  The goal of adding Promutase 200 to Myristol was to create a product that might help horses that tend to get muscle sore or be prone to myositis episodes, and that may also help with recovery post exertion.
